An interclub boxing event is an opportunity for fighters to test their skills in controlled sparring sessions, closely resembling a competitive environment. These sessions are judged, allowing fighters to gain valuable experience without the full pressure of a formal match. Each fight consists of three rounds, each lasting two minutes, providing an opportunity for a dynamic exchange while maintaining a focus on participant safety.

The referee plays a crucial role, with the responsibility to stop the bout immediately if a significant difference in skill level between the fighters is observed. This approach minimizes the risk of injury and ensures the competition remains appropriate for both participants.

For safety, fighters are required to wear 16-ounce gloves, as well as mandatory mouthguards and groin protectors.
