The 2024 ACKA Autumn Tournament is open for registration!
PLEASE NOTE THE LOCATION FOR THIS TOURNAMENT: West Wallsend High School.
If you have previously entered a Chitokai/ACKA tournament, simply login to Kihapp and check your details are current before selecting the event(s) you would like to enter.
If you are registering to a Chitokai/ACKA tournament for the first time, select which event(s) you would like to enter and ensure you fill in the information regarding your age, weight and belt rank correctly so that you are placed in the correct division.

TOURNAMENT DISCLAIMER
ALL competitors in kumite (sparring) events will compete in bogu (protective armour) as supplied at the tournament. Groin guards are recommended. Mouthguards are compulsory for KUMITE and recommended for soft baton and sumo. World Karate Federation rules will apply at this tournament, and protective equipment will be worn by all competitors in kumite events.
Junior competitors may not compete at an older age level unless divisions are merged due to number of entrants.
DISCLAIMER
1. I acknowledge that I have read the definitions below.
2. I hereby acknowledge that my entry and participation in the martial arts tournament carries with it a significant risk of personal injury.
3. Therefore, I for myself and my Releasors herby relinquish, release and/or waive any action against the releasees for any personal injury sustained by me arising out of and/or in the course of the competition.
4. In addition, in the event of action being commence, I for myself and the Releasors herby indemnify the Releasees against any cost and damages arising from or connected therewith.
DEFINITIONS
a. “Personal Injury” has its ordinary English meaning and includes any injury for which a person might be awarded General Damages and/or Special Damages at Common Law.
b. “The Releasors” means my family, dependents, heirs, executors and/or assigns and any person or persons claiming through them.
c. The “Releasees” means the executive committee and instructors of the Australian Chitokai Karate Association Inc. and/or any person(s) jointly and/or severally involved in the conduct of the activities of the Australian Chitokai Karate Association Inc.
d. “Any action” means any claim, right and/or cause of action for damages at Common Law or pursuant to any statute.
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY:
Withdrawal from the competition should be requested through your dojo manager. A 3.5% processing fee will be applied to all refund amounts.
